The alarm will go off and the watch will vibrate intensively. A smart watch with the heart rate sensor is required. Samsung Gear Live, Moto 360 are the most compatible.

The watch measures your heart rate values through the optical sensor then sends to the server for analysis. When you are drowsy and trying to focus on your task at hands, your heart rate variability follows a distinctive pattern. By analyzing this pattern, it is possible to estimate your level of drowsiness wherever you are, with no special gear other than your watch.
Algorithms used to analyze heart rate follows recommendations of European Society of Cardiology (ESC) and the North American Society of Pacing and Electrophysiology (NASPE). The current accuracy rate is more than 90%.
The watch app will learn and get better down the track when it measures your own heart rate patterns frequently and updates the tracking results.

The app tracks your movements and heart rate patterns to realize when you starts to get sleepy, it then increases the number of reading times to cover more often. On the other hand, it scales down monitoring sessions when you just wake up after a good sleep ^^. By intelligently triggering sensors at the right times only, SleepWake conserves the watch battery. A fully-charged watch can usually run a whole day long with the app running in the background.
★★★★★ What watch does the app support?
It only works with watch that runs on Android and has an optical heart rate sensor facing your wrist (such as Samsung Gear Live, Moto 360) so it can reads heart rate automatically. It doesn't work with watch with no sensor or watch that requires manual handling for every read (for example, Asus Zen Watch).
The app does NOT run on Tizen-based watches like Gear S, Gear 2, Gear 2 Neo yet.
