When using I’m Safe your contacts will be notified via SMS. In that case you can also add your social media accounts so the app can still send your message via Facebook or Twitter.

There’s also the I’m Safe extension for your smartwatch (Android Wear), no need to pull out your phone out of your pocket, just open the app on your smartwatch and tap the shield!
