Activation only takes a moment
You don’t need much to activate the app. Just a Dutch current account at ING, access to My ING and a valid identity document. This can be a passport, an ID card from the EU, an ID card for foreign nationals, a Dutch residence permit or a driver’s license.

The App works great and is user-friendly. However, I've noticed that in the updated version "Card Use Abroad" remains stuck to 'Europe'. The change to "world" is availed but does not apply. After you change the use to "World" and go back to the main account to try a transaction outside Europe (which fails), when you return to the App you find that 'Card Use Abroad' option remained stuck to 'Europe' despite your previous change to 'World'. Also this doesn't sync with online banking settings.

I became a new customer of ING. When I initialized my account I can't activate mobile banking. Each time when I click "Activitate" an app says "Something went wrong". I already uninstalled/installed an application a couple of times, restarted few times, used 4G/wi-fi networks but still can't activate my app. The customer support is useless. They only say: "we will fix it asap". Meantime, I can't use my money as everything depends on banking application. I'm in a full frustration :-(

I've been trying to log in for the past few days and I still cannot. Every time I try to log in, it tells me to wait around 10 minutes. I wait with both the screen on or off, and every other variation just in case, but I never receive any message and nothing changes. If I put my phone to sleep mode or don't touch the screen after a while, it just automatically signs me out. I've restarted everything, phone is up to date, cleared data and cache yet nothing works.

Hi Luiz, currently it can take up to 30 minutes to receive a notification after scanning or uploading your ID. If it keeps failing, please try again later or use another ID with NFC. When you keep experiencing issues, call our Technical Support Desk (KIA) for further assistance. You can reach them on business days between 08:30 and 17:00. ^Sylvia

What's new

It seems as though nothing much happens, but some small and nice improvements were implemented. And the hunt for bugs is never-ending, so we also continued our quest in that.

If you turn on automatic updates, you won't have to read about bugs and improvements anymore. But maybe you enjoy reading about these things.
